KGID 2026 “Learning from Korea: Scaling Green Growth for Global Impact," was held on May 6-8, 2026, in Sejong, Republic of Korea, jointly organized with the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE) of the Republic of Korea, the donor of KGGTF, and in partnership with Sejong City.
This year's KGID achieved record-breaking participation, bringing together 569 attendees, including 29 World Bank teams, 124 delegates from 25 client countries, and representatives from 85 Korean partner institutions. This breadth of participation speaks to KGID's enduring purpose: sharing knowledge, bridging sectors, and forging the lasting partnerships that translate ambition into concrete action.
KGID also facilitated 76 bilateral meetings that further strengthened strategic partnerships between the World Bank and Korea, underscoring Korea’s role as a leading innovation and knowledge partner in advancing sustainable development.
