Korea Meteorological Institute (KMI) hosted a seminar on December 1, 2025, at the Peace & Park Convention in Seoul to strengthen the overseas export capabilities of Korea’s weather industry. The event brought together around 50 experts from industry, academia, research, and government to discuss strategies for international cooperation, global competitiveness, and export support. As part of the program, Joonyeol Yoon, Analyst, KGGTF, World Bank, delivered a presentation introducing KGGTF and explored opportunities for collaboration in KGGTF activities with participants. Other sessions covered enhancing competitiveness in the AI era, practical export strategies, and company case studies.
