On November 3-8, 2025, eighteen participants visited the Republic of Korea for a knowledge exchange under the Kenya Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Program (K-WASH, P179012). The delegation included national and county government representatives, the Council of Governors, and World Bank staff. The exchange featured technical lectures, field visits, and workshops focused on climate resilience, operational efficiency, and sector sustainability, fostering collaboration between Kenyan and Korean water sector stakeholders.

Participants gained valuable insights on master planning in the water sector, essential for developing adaptive, data-driven strategies that address current and future needs, and for building a resilient, sustainable water system for Kenya.
