On November 25, Joonyeol Yoon, Analyst, Korea Green Growth Trust Fund, World Bank, presented “Introduction to the Korea Green Growth Trust Fund (KGGTF)” at the MDB Trust Fund Seminar during the MDB Project Plaza 2025.
During this event, Joonyeol explored collaboration opportunities with partners involved in World Bank operations.
This event, hosted by Korea’s Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF) and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources (MOTIR), was organized by Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and took place at the JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul. The two-day platform brought together 6 MDBs, 26 overseas procuring entities, and around 230 participants, including approximately 130 Korean companies.
The event highlighted opportunities for Korean firms to engage in MDB-financed operations.
The World Bank procurement team joined the program, and on November 26, targeted 1:1 meetings were held with Korean companies to explore collaboration opportunities tied to Bank operations and procurement pipelines.
