In her presentation, Jiyon explained the procedures KGGTF uses to identify, develop, and support grants, offering insights into the criteria and steps that guide project formulation. She also introduced various ongoing KGGTF-supported grants across sectors, with a particular focus on urban development — sharing cases and lessons learned that could inform participants’ own national contexts. Additionally, Jiyon discussed how KGGTF supports grants with clear objectives in alignment with KGGTF’s four pillars and grants linked to World Bank lending operations, highlighting how this integrated approach amplifies development impact.

She outlined KGGTF’s future plans to further strengthen these linkages, aiming to scale up successful models and expand collaboration with countries pursuing green, resilient, and inclusive urban development.
