Grant Activities

Project Summary:

The grant is set to guide Cambodia's urban transformation by modernizing urban management, improving infrastructure services, and building the capacity of national and sub-national stakeholders. By addressing climate risks, promoting sustainable urbanization, and leveraging advanced technologies and spatial analytics, the program paves the way for a greener, more resilient future.

The grant will address critical knowledge and capacity gaps, providing the analytical groundwork for policy reform, dialogue, and investment planning. The grant will support Cambodia (i) develop a financing roadmap for urban infrastructure and services, and (ii) modernize land administration and revenue systems. Moreover, it will identify strategic investments to unlock the economic potential of medium-sized cities and economic corridors.

This approach promotes balanced regional development and positioning Cambodia to effectively manage urban growth and resilience effectively and sets the stage for future lending opportunities.
