Grant Activities

Project Summary:

To improve the quality of housing and public space for vulnerable households, including migrants from Venezuela, in selected municipalities.

Activities will support the Colombia’s Ministry of Housing and Territory (MVCT), and the National Planning Department (NDP) to systematize and scale the technical and financial assistance provided to local governments to create an enabling environment for the effective implementation of large-scale, multisectorial urban transformation projects.

Specifically, grant financed activities aim to collaborate with the effective implementation of the Resilient and Inclusive Housing IPF Project in Colombia. Activities will contribute to Component 1 "Improve homes and neighborhoods for low-income households" as well as to Component 2 "Institutional strengthening to improve homes and neighborhoods".

Specifically, they will increase the Government's knowledge on themes such as urban regeneration policies, housing welfare policies, green architecture, carbon neutral urban development, and best practices for social cohesion through infrastructure investments. It is expected that knowledge sharing and training activities will also allow to learn on Korea's experience on construction management systems and public rental housing. Results from grant financed activities will be reflected in the successful achievement of the IPF indicators.
