Building Drought Resilience in the South of Angola through Geospatial Information and Nature-Based Infrastructure

Since 2013, Angola's southern region has faced an unprecedented drought, the most severe in over three decades, impacting more than three-quarters of its population. This environmental crisis has led to a cascade of issues including malnutrition, family disintegration, increased domestic violence, and environmental degradation through charcoal production and deforestation.

This program is dedicated to supporting the development of drought resilience in the region.
