Sung Woo Kim of the Presidential Commission on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth of the Republic of Korea/ Kim & Chang was recently featured in the October 29th, 2023, edition of a Korean newspaper, Energy Economic News, where he discussed his intervention at Korean Green Innovation Days (KGID) 2023 and the importance of raising Korea’s green growth profile internationally.
Kim spoke at the “Green Growth in Action: The World Bank, Korea, and Egypt” KGID 2023 plenary session and shared on the progress that Korea has made from the inception of its green growth journey and its target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 to include further developing core green technology and talent, strengthening the green industry, fostering climate-tech ventures, and expanding green financing and the influx of investment capital.
