Air pollution has long been a challenge to global health. Recent wildfires throughout Central Canada left plumes of smoke blanketing the Northeastern United States and severely impacted air quality for millions of persons including World Bank staff based at its headquarters in the Washington Metropolitan area.
KGGTF funded a 2017 OLC course, “Introduction to Air Quality Management”, developed by Ernesto Sánchez-Triana, that remains instrumental in understanding the concepts of air pollution and its management. Learn more here.
