The Korea Green Growth Trust Fund (KGGTF) is excited to announce its 2022 (Year 10) Call for Proposals, opening on April 13, 2022 and closing on July 7, 2022.
The World Bank KGGTF, funded by the Republic of Korea, was established in 2011 to support client countries as they shift to a sustainable development pathway by operationalizing inclusive green growth initiatives, strategies, and investments. To date, funding has been approved for 180 programs in agriculture and food, digital development, energy, environment, transport, urban and water sectors.
KGGTF’s objective is to mainstream inclusive green growth knowledge, investment and capacity building support throughout the World Bank’s operations to assist World Bank client countries to operationalize inclusive green growth initiatives, strategies, and investments. The focus of the 2022 Call for Proposals will be on the implementation and mainstreaming of the Bank’s GRID strategy.
Korea’s Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF) has approved the opening of KGGTF’s Year 10 Call for Proposals and the funding envelope is $10 million USD.
