With its stunning landscapes and unique geography, Jeju is tackling climate challenges through its 2035 Carbon Neutrality Vision. The island is implementing key initiatives to enhance environmental and economic resilience, positioning itself as a leader in sustainable development. In recognition of these efforts, the KGGTF, in collaboration with Korea Program for Operational Knowledge (KPOK), has developed an e-learning video series to highlight Jeju’s innovative strategies and pioneering actions toward carbon neutrality, serving as a model for World Bank client countries aiming to build climate resilience.

The Korea Program for Operational Knowledge (KPOK) is a collaborative initiative between the World Bank Group (WBG) and the Republic of Korea. Its mission is to provide development knowledge and learning resources that assist developing countries in tackling complex development challenges. By aligning their goals for capacity building and knowledge sharing, KPOK strengthens partnerships with various Korean stakeholders, effectively translating their development experiences for application in the global development arena.

The Open Learning Campus (OLC) of the WBG serves as a platform to foster a global education ecosystem focused on development. All KPOK deliverables are hosted on the OLC, facilitating the dissemination of knowledge to the broader development community.
